WHAT IS IT?
It is the future of business and needs to happen in all areas of the global economy if we want to live in a sustainable world.
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation describes it as being based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.
Axlewood believes in shifting to a Circular Economy – one in which resources are re-used, repurposed, recycled. It is the opposite of consumerism, or of the current linear economy of take-make-waste.
